The office has been abuzz lately with an entirely different side of the hip mix - fashion! Our store now features a wide selection of clothing for the active belly dancer, and it's growing every day. As it develops, the question at the forefront of my mind is: What "type" of items do oriental dancers like? Of course, costuming is integral to the performance and practice of dance, but what about on an everyday basis, when we're working out or going to get groceries?

Everyone has their own unique style, and I would tend to argue that a dancer's flair and persona is part of what makes her *pop* out on the dance floor. It's yet another way to play around with our special interests and flavors. In fact, I've been dabbling in fashion quite a bit lately. Hip Mix recently submitted this collage to Neiman Marcus for consideration in an upcoming project, and we were blown away when our hip fashions shot right up in the polls!
