How I came to Hipness |
|
Cleveland magazine January 2010 chose me as one of their most interesting people - check it out online. President of two toastmaster clubs - most folks join because they're not comfortable when getting in front of a group of people to speak - I joined to learn how to shut up/distill information as I'm so used to being paid to talk/dance for large periods of time but realize there are times we need to quickly get our message across. Volunteer on the Touch Healing Team at the world reknown Cleveland Clinic as a reiki master offering healing energy to patients, their families and our own employees in high stress areas such as cancer center and various ICUs. Graduated 8/07 from a 5 year program with a very traditional hula teacher-first group every permited to do this who did not live in Hawaii full time - huge honor. Attend Oasis Dance Camp in Traverse City, Michigan - celebrated our 25th year last sept and just got back from sharing my trip of a lifetime to Egypt with many of those same gals including one of my students of 33 years. |

I was looking for music to use for a choreography Cassandra Shore had taught us while in Luxor, Egypt by Said Mrad. |
