I was living in New York and a friend of mine from Jordan suggested I learn to belly dance after seeing me mimic people in the Arabic nightclubs we would frequent. He told me it would take me 2 weeks to learn to belly dance!! haha. My first two teachers were Bobby Farrah and Yousry Sharif. Amazing dancers!! I started in Bobby's advanced class. Wow!! Keeping up was hard but I was determined and I had a natural ability for the movements. 14 years later I am now living in Cairo. Its been a long road, but mostly fulfilling and amazing.
