How I came to Hipness |
|
Jendayi began studying dance in 2001 with Sarai. From 2001 to 2004 she took the opportunity to study with many Altlanta area instructors. She began teaching classes full time in 2006 and formed Badalna Dance Company. In addition to directing Badalna and teaching several belly dance classes a week, Jendayi directs a student troupe called Banat Jendayi. Her background in bellydance includes Egyptian, Tribal and Turkish. |

Jendayi Dance Company, founded under the direction on Jendayi, is comprised of some of her most dedicated and hardworking advanced-level students who share a true passion for the art of belly dance. The members of Jendayi Dance Company strive to continuously learn about the music, culture and dance associated with the Middle East. Some of these talented ladies teach and perform as professional dancers at venues throughout Atlanta and also perform in various showcases and community events throughout Georgia. |
