How I came to Hipness |
|
I am a well rounded individual with interests in many areas. I am currently working on a second degree in history education at Lamar University with hopes of one day having a Masters degree in History. I hold a Bachelors degree in Music from Lamar University. I sing, dance, compose, play flute, write stories and poetry, and enjoy many other activities of a mind stimulating nature. I am married since 2009 to a wonderful man who supports me. I am also a physically challenged dancer, as I suffer from fibromyalgia, back pain, nerve damage, and hypothyroidism. I hope I can inspire others with my story. |

I came to belly dance after many years of curiosity via a society for creative anachronism introduction class. After that, I actively began to seek a class in my local area. I found a wonderful instructor named Alexandra Bernard aka Shaharazad. I study with her via Lamar University Continuing Education. I attend as many shows as possible, and I dance in student shows and charity events. |
