How I came to Hipness |

Yasmine was first introduced to Middle Eastern Dance in January 1978. There was an instant love for performing. In December of 1992, she had the opportunity to visit Jordan. Since that first visit, Yasmine has visited the Middle East numerous times, with Egypt as the primary emphasis. She feels that an understanding of the culture and customs play an important part of studying and performing the dance. |

Performer and Instructor of Egyptian style dance. Director of Troupe Sarrab formed in 1992. Yasmine has been studying and performing middle eastern dance for over 33 years. Has made numerous visits to the Middle East for the purpose of absorbing the culture to maintain a better understanding of the dance. |
